Move the workflow, not just the cells

List what each spreadsheet controls, who edits it, where values come from, and which decisions depend on it. A system migration should replace ownership and handoffs as well as storage.

Choose a safe first process

Begin with a useful but reversible workflow such as contacts and opportunity follow-ups. Define field names, required values, permissions, and reports before importing.

Clean and test

  • Keep an untouched source export.
  • Normalize dates, currencies, owners, and status values.
  • Import a small sample and reconcile record counts.
  • Train users with their real daily tasks.

Retire duplicate sources deliberately

Set a cutover date, make the old file read-only, and document where the authoritative record now lives. ChapFlow can connect the selected process to other enabled modules as the rollout expands.
